We were learning about what to do when something happens online that we don't like.

We were learning to make an infographic to tell people what to do about bad comments online.

I found it easy to change my background.

I found it hard to get my pictures.

I really enjoyed changing the background colours.

Next time I need to...step away from my device when something happens online that I don't like.

Walt: To make our story more interesting for our readers

The flood. 

On Friday morning I woke up because I heard a heavy, gushing, rushing rain.

I got out of my bed and saw the big gushing rushing rain.  

I was scared and my family were too. We were terrified. The rain was super heavy.

There were butterflies in my tummy. It was very sore.

The flood made the road outside of my house damaged and the concrete outside was covered with water.

The water was coming into the house. We got heaps

of towels and put them on the floor to get all the water out of the house. When we  got all the water out of the house we were super happy

On Sunday me and Josiah and William went to Kaitaia beach. 
First we got in our togs. Me and William and Josiah did some bombs. We had a competition to see who did the biggest bombs. I did the biggest bombs ever. My Mum got us lollies. They were Yum and delicious. Next we got changed back into our clothes. We went to the car because it was cold.  
We put on our puffy jackets.They were super warm.  
After that we got some munchies. We were being greedy cats.
I was happy as a clown. 
Finally we went home.

Recount Writing-At the hot pools

I wanted to write my story so my readers will like it.

The hot pools.

On Saturday morning me and my family went to the pools in Whangarei for a swim.

First when we got there we went to get changed into our togs. I felt so excited. I was jumping up and down and waving my hands around.

Next I went out to the pool to have a swim. We got in the pools I bombed. SPLASH The  water was very cold. I felt freezing. My body was shivering all over. So I got out and quickly ran to the hot tub to get warmed up. I stepped into the  hot tub and it was lovely and warm.

At Whangarei Pools
On Saturday me and Josiah went to the Whangarei Pools with my mum to have fun.  First we got dressed into our togs.  We were laughing at each other because our clothes were everywhere.  We picked them all up, shoved them into our bags and ran out to the pools.  
First we went down the waterslide. It was amazing.  We went around and around and around.  We went down it over and over and over and over.

I wrote a book review about my favourite story.

I even painted my face and shaped my hair like a dorsal fin to look like Clark the shark.

First we dug a hole. Then we put some rocks around it.

Next we put in some water.

Then we had a swim. My Mum and 

Dad were in the rock pool.

Me and William were making a big castle.

I felt happy. We had a great day at the beach.
