Recount Writing - Whaea Dianes Visit

 WALT use the correct structure for recount writing.

Whaea Diane’s vist.                                                                           Yesterday Whaea Diane came to talk to our class about Maths. First Whaea Diane showed us a 120’s  board. We used it to count in tens. 

After that she put us in groups.

Next she gave us some of these green cards that had numbers on them and then she gave the cards to the  

person that she trusted to hold them. Then we got the 

1 digit, 2 digit, and 3 digit groups. It was a little bit hard because my friends gave me the little bit harder cards.

Later on Whaea Diane gave me some ideas to try.

Finally we talked about how we put the cards in groups.

My fun part was when we put the cards into groups.

That was a fun day.
